She’s Back?! – Chapter 2 – Story

I want to know if I should carry this story on because I didn?t get many comments last time though I appreciate those who did leave comments.

Tension filled the car as we drove to California, so far everything seemed so…unreal, sort of like a show place rather than a comfy house I was always so used too. There was already a van parked beside the house and I stumbled out of the car before looking up and I froze.

I automatically took back what I said, because this house was beautiful, it was full of soft colours such as creams and whites and it gave the house an elegant look. A movement in the corner of my eye made me jerk my head to a middle aged man and woman talking to my parents. Behind them was a brunette, who had on a white skirt and purple sweater top. She was very pretty and her brown hair hung just below her shoulder in curls.

I walked up to her slowly and she looked up at me. She jus stared so I started the conversation.
”Hi”, I said timidly. She smiled and said,
”Hey”, quite loudly, ”I’m Jessica”. She shook my hand in a firm grip. Obviously this girl had a lot of confidence. ”I’m Mariah”, I said equally loudly. We started talking and laughing like old friends and she was an amazing girl. She had an edge of serenity around her and her hazel eyes were calm.

She was even going to my school so she said she would take the bus with me seeing as she lived across the road from me. Then came the issue of how I looked and she asked me why I dressed like how I did and I lied saying i was comfortable. She said she was going to ”sort me out” and frankly I was scared.

After I unpacked in my huge room, it had a sofa chair in the corner and a double bed in the center of the room. The curtains were white see-through drapes and the room was cream. I loved it. Suddenly the doorbell rang and I looked at my clock. Who would be here at 8:00 at night? I opened it and there stood Jessica with a duffelbag. ”Are you running away?” I asked Jess dumbly. She burst out laughing and soon started snorting as I dragged her to my room and sat her on the bed.

”No silly, I’m helping you”, I stared confused, ”tell me the truth about what happened”. Me eyes widened and tears threatened to spill but I spilled out what happened anyways and she had her fists clenched.

All she said was, ”Well, let?s get started”. I raised my eyebrow and she rolled her eyes. ”Duh! I’m your fashion guru and make up artist and everything else too!” She grinned.

”You’re twelve, what do you know about fashion?” She grinned and said, ”Well my mum is a fashion designer and I?m her doll which she tries clothes on so you can be my dolly!” She patted my head and I suppressed a groan.

The next few days we didn’t do anything to my appearance but surprisingly I made friends. Some were kind and some were very trustable. There were five altogether and they were Jessica, Molly, Kayliegh, Lily and Darcy. They were all normies in the school and there were some popular girls and hot boys roaming around. One of them was named Rhiannon who loved people’s pain. She tried bitch-slapping me when I called her a bitch but Jess dragged me back and we took off.

Today, as I got off my bus, I saw Lily in my bedroom window with a grin plastered on her face. Uh oh. It could only mean one thing: It was time.
