Chapter 2

I choked out “please?.. stop”

He brings his face closer to mine and says “are you doing anything today?” then lets go of my throat. He smashes our lips together, making my lips hurt.

He started to pull my shirt off but when I pushed him away, I knew who he was “what the hell!” I yelled at Ben, he is one of my regulars “you fucking scared me!”

He grabbed my wrist and put it behind my back and grabbed the back of my hair and started to PUSH me down to his place.

“Stop! Ben!” I tried to pull away, I needed the money but Ben?s fucking drunk! “Ben!” I yelled. We got to the door, Ben opened it and pushed me in. then shoved me to his room.

I got off the bed and walked across the room. I bent down and grabbed my clothes, I quickly started to put them on. I put on my bra, white tank top, black cardigan, underwear, jean shorts, then I put on my boots. I quietly walk to the door, hoping to sneak out of his place before he comes out from the bathroom. Once I got close to the door of his place when I felt arms wrap around me. I hear a whisper in my ear “where are you going?”

I looked behind me, of course it would be Ben! “Ben” I said trying to push him off “get off!”

He lets go but grabs my arm and says “I didn?t say you could leave”

I yanked my arm away and said “you already owe me your house, Im not staying any longer!”

“Fine” he says as he walks to the kitchen. I turn around and headed for the door “wait”

I stopped and turned around “what” I said angrily

Ben actually wasn?t dress, but I can care less if he was, he was still drunk. NO! I DIDN?T spend the night!

Ben was looking through a drawer and pulls out money, I say “200″

“What?!” he says angrily, “I’m not paying that much! I never paid that much!”

“Fine.. 160!”

“Fuck no!” he says putting back his money

“Ben, give me the money or else ill tell Eric you?re ripping me off!” I said angrily “they will ALL come here!” meaning, Landon and the gang. But that?s not how Eric ?works?, he would get the money himself.

He looked angry, then angrily pulled the money out and started to count. I walked to him and waited till he finished. Once he handed it to me, I left. I didn?t want to be here long.

I went back to the apartment, but went to find Landon first. I walked down the alley, it?s a long alley way. After walking for about 15 minutes, I decided to just go to Landon?s place. They all usually hang out their.

I was about to turn around, but then a fire caught my eye. It was pretty far away but I decided to check it out. I ran to the building, it was a crapped up motel. The closer I got the bigger the fire was. I was a few buildings away when I saw them, the gang standing outside the building, just watching it burn. I went up to them , I looked for Landon. I went up to one of the guys “wheres Landon? And Krystal?”

The guy just points at the building that was burning to ashes.

“No” I mumbled and pushed through some guys and started to get close the building.

“Vanessa!” I turned around, hoping it was Landon, with my baby. But no it was Mike. I ignored him and started to run into the building. Someone yanked me back, I look at the person. It was mike, of course! “Don?t go in, you can get hurt”

I tried to yank my arm away but he had a strong grip on me “let go! Krystal?s in there!” I got him to let go, I tried to run in again but Mike and another guy grabbed me by my arms “no let go!” tears started to fall like a waterfall. “let go of me!” I yelled.

Mike pulls me back and says “its for the best”

“No!” I tried to push him and the other guy off “its not! Just let me go! Shes my baby!” I stopped struggling and just looked down, letting the tears fall to the ground and whispered “she?s just a baby”

The guy lets go of me, Mike pulls me into a hug and says “its ok”

I angrily pulled away and yelled “no its not!” and quickly ran in the building. yes the fire building.

Mike POV

“No it?s not!” Vanessa yelled at me then ran to the building fire, she ran straight in the fire building.

My friend Larry says “wow, shes stupid”

I turned around “what did you say?” I asked him

“Why the fuck did she go in the building?! she?s going to die! Its just a stupid baby! Why does she care about it, if her own parents don?t care shit about her”

I walked up to him and ask “what are you talking about?!”

Larry tells me “her parents had money, not a lot but they had money. More money then all of us can ever get. She was spoiled little brat that ran away with her boyfriend because her parents wouldn?t take her to the beach for her 16 birthday. So her and her boyfriend moved here and her boyfriend dumped her on the street. The only way she ever got money is being a hooker , her parents never tried to look for her. She called them 3 years later and the parents actually forgot about her. But I think they were tired of her”

“She’s a hooker?” no way, she doesn?t act like one!

Larry laughs and says “how do you think Eric and her met?” he pats my shoulder and says to the others “okay, lets go”

Some of the guys started to turn around “wait!” I told them then looked back at the fire building “what about Landon?! And Vanessa!”

Larry says “boo hoo, Vanessa?s gone” then he starts walking down the alley, completely ignoring the fire building.

I say “we cant just leave them to die! We have to help them!”

Larry walks up to me and says “if you don?t shut your fucking mouth and leave with us. Your out!” he turns around and starts leaving, some guys quickly followed, others took a while to move from their spots and follow Larry.

I looked at the building, the fire was big, so big! I looked back at Larry, everyone was leaving with him. ?is she worth it? She is married? I thought
