There was a loud gun shot so Avril probably woke up. I’ve to get as much as her in case something happened but I had to help Jake too due to the fact he got shot. I carried Jake upstairs and ran to my room. Avril was awake. She looks scared so I sat next to her.

‘You okay?’ I asked her.
She just nodded. I couldn’t aid but just hug her. I let go and took some bandages and wrapped it about Jake’s arm.

‘What happened?’ she asked.
‘Bad individuals came and shot him’ I said.
‘Why?’ She asked.
‘I do not know. You need to ask either Taylor or Jake’ I said.
‘Oh okayy’ She said. I stood up but she pulled my hand.

‘What?’ I asked.
‘Please do not leave me’ She stated.
‘Ok. I won’t’ I stated.

Then Jake told me to take him to his room. I had to take him there but I did not desire to leave Avril. I asked Avril to follow me. We brought Jake to his room and went out. When we had been going to go back to my room, there was a guy outside and he virtually punched Avril. I grabbed his hand and he punched my stomach. It hurt so poor but I had to get up so that he wouldn’t hit Avril. I got up and pushed him down the stairs as difficult as I could. I swiftly pulled Avril to my room and locked it.

‘Are you okay?’ She asked me.
‘Yeah’ I stated but I wasn’t.
‘Thanks. I’m sorry’ She said.
‘No issue. Sorry for what?’ I asked.
‘He was going to punch me but you blocked and he punched you’ She stated.
‘It’s okay’ I stated. My stomach hurt since that was exactly where he punched me. I let out a shout however it wasn’t loud. Somehow, Avril heard it. She looked truly worried and took one of her shirts and wet it.

‘Your stomach hurts?’ She asked.
‘Yeah’ I said. I took of my shirt and she was staring at me.

‘What?’ I asked
‘Nothing’ she stated. She took her shirt and put it on my stomach. I felt greater but it wasn’t the shirt with water. It was Avril. I just stared at her as she put the shirt on my stomach. I held her hand and she looked up.

‘It does not hurt anymore’ I say.
‘Okay’ she said and put away her shirt. She sat down subsequent to me. I was still staring at her. She caught me staring at her.

‘What??’ she asked.
‘Umm..Absolutely nothing. It’s nonetheless quite early. You need to go back to sleep’ I stated. She nodded and lay down. I lay down next to her and hugged her. I couldn’t sleep so I stayed awake. A couple of minutes later, she turned about.

‘I’m not tired too’ I said.

‘It was okay’ She stated.
‘Ohh..why? don’t you’ve got a boyfriend?’ I asked.
‘Noooo’ she said. She stopped awhile and said ‘ But I’m positive one of you guys have a girlfriend correct?’ She asked

‘No, none of us have one’ I stated smiling.
She smiled back and said,’ Why not?’
‘I do not know’ I stated.
‘You guys in no way had 1?’ She stated.
‘Um..Taylor, Jake and Austin employed to but not me’ I stated.
‘How come? You all don’t look that poor you know’ She stated.
‘Oh, so you’re saying we appear excellent?’ I stated, jokingly. She just pushed my arm.
‘I was kidding’ I said and smiled at her. She smiled back and said, ‘ So how come?’ She asked.

‘I do not know’ I lied. I’m not gonna tell her that I will only like a girl who actually likes me or some thing like that stuff. She may possibly feel I’m weird.

‘Oh. 1 more factor. How did you discover me?’ She asked.
‘I was taking a walk’ I said.
‘It was already actually late. Tell the truth pleasee’ She said.
‘Ok. I saw you yesterday morning if you were walking to school. Then whenever you had been walking back residence, you took the long way back so I followed you. Then you ran out of your home using a lot of stuff. I continued to follow you in case you required help or some thing and you did’ I explained.
‘You STALKERR!’ She stated to me.
‘Sorry…’ I said. That wasn’t genuinely the truth but I had to tell her some thing. I saw her a lengthy time ago not just when she was going to school.
‘It’s okay’ she said.

To tell the truth, I genuinely like her and I have a feeling so does the other guys. I’m not actually sure but I’m just guessing. I wish I could read avril’s mind. Although I was thinking, she fell asleep on me.

?Daddy I?m house!? I yell into the residence when I get property from school.

?I?m in my study.? He yells back. I run off to his study to find him writing his latest book. Dad was a writer and a really very good one at that. I sat on floor next to him. ?So what did you learn in school right now pumpkin??

?Nothing new. I?ve already learned pretty a lot every thing they teach me.? I sigh.

?Good,? he chuckles. ?Let?s maintain it that way.?

?I?m going to begin supper.? I tell him ahead of hopping up and going to the kitchen to begin boiling water. I appear over on the counter to see the picture I take a look at each single day about 3 times each day. It was a picture of my mother smiling down in the baby version of me with my sister and brother standing next to her. Mother murdered when I was only three, the worst portion was they never ever located the killer.

?Hello?? Viola yells from the front door.

Johnny had to have picked her up by now. I pulled up to hotel that they were staying at and pulled out the hat from under the seat. Then I pulled the glasses from the dashboard and put them on. I couldn?t ruin this for her having a bunch of girls operating and screaming and damn I don?t know how they do it but hair pulling too.

I got out of my automobile and I ran as much as the entrance. Then ran to the elevator and was lifted as much as her level. I walked to her door and ahead of knocking I straightened out my clothes. Chapter 18

“Ever?..” He says urging me to continue.

“You know?.” I don?t wish to say it so I gesture between us and the bed.

His eyes grow wide and he burst out laughing. I naturally wasn?t. Was the thought of becoming with me that repulsive. He sees that I?m not smiling.

“Lori.” He begins grabbing my hands. “I didn?t sleep with you since you weren?t ready.”

“So it?s not because once you first saw me I was fat and ugly.” His smile drops.

“Is that what you believe? I was only with you simply because you lost weight? What type of asshole do you think I am? Initial you think I took advantage of you if you were drunk and now you think I?m shallow? Is this truly how you feel of me?” He says obtaining upset.

“You?re not shallow. And I know you?re an excellent guy. I?m just attempting to figure out what went wrong.” I finish honestly.

Ignore an ignorant boy who didn?t know greater. You…..are …..worth it.” He says the last part quietly trying to convince me as soon as and for all.

I can?t aid but burst into tears. All my life I’ve in no way heard those words spoken to me.

Even in my own eyes regardless of just how much I changed it just wasn?t sufficient. I always believed I was not worth the stares I got from cute guys or the compliments not simply on my appearance but my personality. “I don?t have a sort don’t forget.” He says into my hair. “Now take care. And if Logan or any other guy hurts you again. I?ll rip them to shreds.” He says smiling. It?s funny simply because he?s such a sweet guy I couldn?t picture him hurting everyone.

“Thanks for getting such a fantastic boyfriend. You truly set the standard.” I say.

He looks at me adoringly. “You created it straightforward. Now do not break anymore hearts. And tell me how the entire Logan and Ian circumstances turn out.”

“I promise.” I say very good bye to him and feel over our past conversation. I often believed he liked me because I changed. To know that he liked me for me modifications every little thing. In another lifetime I could have fallen in love with him. but in this one it just wasn’t achievable.

I went from laughing to crying to laughing once again. I don?t know how he does it. I?m really going to miss him but he deserves to move on.

I Thought You were My Very best Friend.. Chapter Two – Story

i look up and see who I slammed into. I see a gorgeous boy with light brown hair and unbelievable blue eyes, he was like an angel. He looked so familiar, he looked like, like blake my childhood friend from vancouver I left him when I was 12, its only been three years he can’t forget me that quickly, could he? “Hey I’m Blake Robinson, I just moved” he smiled his incredibly perfect smile, I guess he forgot about me. “hi good to meet you blake” I appear up with my upset eyes appropriate as I’m about to leave he grabs my arm and turns me about. “I was only kidding jay, I remember you, are not you pleased to see me ?” he frowned, oh god he nonetheless looks gorgeous when he frowns. “umm yea I guess are not you mad at me for leaving without having saying bye?” I rapidly looked down. “I was but I got more than it, I was just truly upset you didn’t leave your telephone number or try to contact me over the years” he lifted my chin, a tear rolled down my cheek “I’m sooo sorry blake, I missed you sooo much” I smiled my goofy smile,” I missed you too boo”.

I had butterflies in my stomach as we kept talking and catching up that I entirely forgot about trey standing behind me. “oh um blake this is trey my best friend”, “Hey trey nice to meet you, thanks for searching out for my girl”, he smiled his cocky smile. “yeah I guess, um jay its finding late we ought to swiftly go get some thing just before the party” now it was his turn to smile his cocky but sexy smile. “oh um ya your appropriate trey”, “is it the party at joes home?” Blake suddenly asked, “yeah! had been u invited? are you going?!?!” excitement quickly took over my physique “yeah in reality I was invited, I guess I’ll see you there jay bye”he kissed my cheek and left although I was just standing there blushing. “uh jay you haven’t fallen for you Ideal friend appropriate, that could be PLAIN wrong!” he frowned. “oh uh pfft naturally not, he’s like my brother!” I had to lie to trey or els he would of that I was just plain gross falling for my best friend. We got our outfits and speedily referred to as max. He lastly arrived as I known as shot gun.

“Hey gorgeous, how was your day?” I laughed my flirty laugh” it was wonderful truly, I just located out my childhood friend moved here!”, “o actually nice, how is she?”, I frowned “oh um its a HE in fact “he looked upset but smiled at me”oh properly then how is he?” I blushed and whispered “he’s great”, we finally arrived at my residence I couldn’t stand the awkward silence anymore.”hey trey wanna alter at my home?”, “of course hun” he smiled and we walked as much as the front door, “bet I can beat you to my room!”, “oo its on babe ! “we went up the thousands of stairs but ahead of the last couple of stairs he grabbed me from my wait and pulled me down to him. We laughed so hard my stomach began to hurt. “JAYLEIGH What exactly is THIS RACKET! I opened my eyes slightly only to see light cascading across the wooden floor. I sat up to comprehend all of the windows within the residence had been open and 1 of them happened to be a sliding door leading out to the deck. I realized I was covered in a blanket and I slightly pushed it off as I sat up. I looked down at my sweat pants and t-shirt I was wearing remembering every little thing that happened before. I walked out to the deck exactly where Jude was standing, seeking out in the, now calm, waves that washed up on shore then went back to the sea. He took a sip of his coke that was in his hands and I tip toed across the deck, ensuring not to disturb his quiet time. I slowly wrapped my arms about him sighing.

?Hey.? He murmured to me wrapping his arms automatically about me. I smiled up at him.

?Hi.? I say plainly.

?You okay??

?Yeah, thanks for almost everything.?

?Yeah, nicely you slept for two hours.? He said giving out a little chuckle.

?Properly, all of the crying? an-..? I start but he cuts off my mumbling.

?Hey, Jupiter,? I smile at him sweetly. No reason to be mean? in front of his face.

?Yeah she is.? Jude speedily cuts off not wanting to go through the entire story again.

?Excellent!? He smiled ahead of walking away. I turned back to Jude,

?Come on, let?s go aid my mom with dinner.? He says pulling me off to the kitchen where we helped Victoria prepare the meal. I by no means knew cooking was this significantly fun. Victoria was so free-spirited and enjoyable to be around. She produced me laugh. But the best component was how Jude loved his mother so significantly. Victoria turned on music just before we got started and Jude danced with her about the table and I just giggled, watching them.

Once the meal was prepared we sat around the table and Victoria said a prayer just before starting to eat. We all held hand mine had been intertwined with Jude?s and Victoria?s hands and I squeezed Jude?s peaking over at him only to see him peaking back with a smile.

?? Amen.? Victoria finishes searching up having a smile at all of us.

?I assume you’ve all met Summer.? She says cutting her food up. They all replied with a yes after which the questions started. ?So you?re from Australia correct my dear??

?Do you have siblings?? she asked innocently. Every little thing from hours ago came rushing back into my head. It wasn?t like she was meaning to hurt me, it was a innocent question but I had to answer it.

?No, it?s okay Jude.? I smile. Victoria looked up curiously.

?I do have 1 sister named Bailey.?

?She ought to be 17.? I say with a little smile over at her. Every person but Jude looked curiously at me now.

?Should be??? Victoria lastly asked what was on all of their minds.

?Yes, um?? I paused making sure I wouldn?t cry. ?She went missing ten months ago.? I tell her.

?Oh my dear, I?m so sorry, I didn?t know.? Victoria dropped her fork and put a reassuring hand on my shoulder.

?It?s okay you had no way of understanding.? I give her a nod as if to say it was okay due to the fact it was.

?Nicely,? Jeneke says changing the subject after a long moment of silence. ?I was questioning exactly where you shop simply because I swear I?ve observed that top ahead of but I don?t know where.? We laughed concerning the joke due to the fact I was wearing her top. Thank God for Jeneke and her saving because then we got into a conversation about clothes. The boys and girls debated how critical cute clothes had been. The conversation created us all laugh. When supper was more than we played a game of cards prior to I got dressed in my typical clothes and Jude walked me residence.

?Good meeting you all.? I smile before Jude shut the door to his residence. But I stopped Jude before moving. ?Can we go the long way residence? I?m not sure if I need to go home fairly but.?

?Sure.? He nodded taking me the opposite way. ?I?m sorry about tonight with my mom.?

?No, that?s okay.? I say quickly. ?She had no way of knowing and it was a innocent question.?

?Yeah properly I?m still sorry? he says shrugging.

?You realize what Jude?? I ask seeking up at him. ?You produced me really feel so much greater after talking about it nowadays.?

?Well I?m glad I can cheer up a cutie like you.? He stated playfully poking my shoulder.

?I?m glad I’ve a friend like you.? I say stopping along the deserted beach. I reached up to hug him and buried my face in his shoulder. When we pulled away I slid my hands to his cheeks pulling him in for a kiss. It wasn?t lengthy and romantic it was brief and sweet and appropriate to the point. The point of, I wanted to be a lot more than buddies. Right after the kiss his hand lightly discovered mind and he quietly walked me the rest of the way property having a smile on his face.

Once inside my residence I discovered a note from my mom.

We went out for supper and believed you had been most likely at your friend, Jude?s, residence so we also went to a movie. Will likely be home late, sorry.

I looked in the clock to discover it as 9 pm. They probably had been going to be yet another hour just before getting residence so I decided to call my dad, only to get his answering machine.

?Hey daddy.? I sniffed attempting to hold back the tears. ?No sharks ate me although I came more than the big sea and yes that could be impossible but I just wanted you to know I got here okay.? I paused awkwardly continuing. ?I?m getting enjoyable so far, I wish I was here with you as an alternative to mum?? I paused once more feeling a tear come down before going on. ?I know it?s not as a result of me? or Bailey but you know dad, it time to give up hope? and I?m not just talking about Bailey.? Pause. ?I adore you. Call me back, bye daddy.? I pressed End on my telephone only to see my message lasted two plus a half minutes. I put on my pajamas ahead of going to wash my face and brush my teeth. I looked at my tossled hair and smiled remembering how Jude had saved me. I went to my bed and brought the sheets as much as my chin and turned out the light.

When I got house, I saw my note had moved on the counter realizing that she was house. I got dressed in my night clothes just before peaking in her room to see her asleep. I watched her as she was in peace. I saw a lot of Bailey in her but I rapidly pushed the believed of Bailey to the back of my mind understanding it would only bring tears.

?Mum?? Summer asked. I closed the door behind me and tip toed to her bed.

?Yeah baby?? I ask laying down beside her wrapping my arms around my baby girl that was lastly communicating with me.

?Tell me a story about Bailey and I as little children.? She says in a soft tone only bringing back Bailey in my mind.

?Well,? I start off with a smile. ?There was this 1 time when you had been 6 years-old and Bailey was 7 and you two came operating into my bedroom simply because you two were scared of the storm.?

?Yeah?? she asked right after some moments of silence although I had a flash back to when it happened.

?You looked like you had been about to cry and she kept acting like she only came in to see if I was okay.? I heard Summer giggle within the darkness. ?I took your small hands down to the kitchen and we produced rice crispy bars and ate them. Your father discovered the 3 of us cuddled up on the couch quick asleep the next morning.? She giggled once again but paused.

?Do think she is nonetheless alive?? She asks me.

?Yes?? and I surprised myself with that answer but there was a deep component of me that believed that she was alive and that we had been going to uncover her. We had to.

?Me too,? She says hugging me close just before falling asleep. She was really my baby girl and so was Bailey. I couldn?t wait to see her once again because I knew some day? whether in this world or the subsequent, I was going to see her.

?What?? I ask stupidly.

?Asher? HOT, new kid Asher! You totally just bitched at him.? She says still stunned.

?I?ll see you at lunch.? She smiles walking away.

At lunch I appear across the lunch room trying to discover Jamie but only discovered my sister operating up to me with a smile on my face.

?Approach to go! I heard what you did to that new kid, Asher, I?m proud of my baby sister.? Viola started at me and I just laughed.

?Thanks but I think he thinks of me as some sort of bitch now.? I say in a low voice.

?Who cares?? she laughs.

?Um I do. We have to function the rest of the semester on this project and I don?t want him to believe of me that way.? I tell her.

I walked house using the autumn air blowing in my face. Viola had cheerleading practice and Edger had Football practice. ?Now leave me alone.? I tell him prior to walking inside and he just watched with a small playful smirk on his lips. I walked farther in the residence and found a note on the counter from my dad saying he went to the grocery store to obtain food. I went and took my location on the couch and turned on the news.

?Robert Ferrin was identified dead this morning. Two men had gone hunting and identified his physique in several parts of the forest. When they identified this gory discovery they right away called police who took care of the body.? The very same woman from last night said. The screen turned to a police officer,

?Yeah it wasn?t fairly but we have the circumstance below control, people in Durham need to beware because this has now grow to be a murder case.?

?So would you say that there is a murderer in town?? The woman asked putting the mike in front of his face anxiously waiting for the answer. The police man sighed,

?Yes.? He stated but continued, ?but don?t panic.? I flipped the channel to MTV where Silent Library was playing. I tried to maintain my mind off the murder and went up to my room to begin on my homework. But I discovered an envelope on my bed that had my name written extremely neatly on it. I sat down and slowly opened it to uncover a letter written in cursive.

I stared down at the letter stunned. Who was this guy? I went to my window looking out to see if everyone was there but there was no one. I slipped the piece of paper in my desk and walked down stairs when I heard my brother and sister yell in.

?What?s really wrong? You?ve been acting weird all night.? She concerns propping herself up on her elbow so she could examine me inside the dark.

I flopped onto the couch right after my shower, my hair blow dried and wavy. Seth was sitting on chair next to it, and he looked up when I landed on the couch. “How was your night?” He asked. I noticed that he was wearing a pair of dark blue jeans as well as a somewhat wrinkled black t-shirt that said, ?It?s only funny until somebody gets hurt? then it?s hilarious.? on it.
“Sandy. I fell asleep on the beach.”

“Oh.” He looked back at the tv. “So?” He paused, clearly not wanting to rush my decision. “?did you choose but?”
“Yeah.” I looked up at him. He was still seeking in the television. “When I fell asleep on the beach last night… I had a dream…” I paused. Not knowing if I wanted to tell him concerning the dream. But I decided I really should because that effected my choice. “In the dream, I was marrying Trae. And you and Alia and Aris had been there within the back… and I realized that, yeah I guess I sort of enjoy Trae, but not inside the way I love you. And that dream made me realize that there’s no one within the world as appropriate for me as you are. It seems weird since a lot of people would believe the dream was telling me I should be with Trae, however it told me some thing various. I enjoy you Seth.” He looked over at me, a smile on his face.

“Really? You?re coming back?”
“Yeah.” I smiled back, then frowned. “I just don?t know how to tell Trae and Missy and everybody else.” I sighed. Seth leaned more than and kissed my cheek.
“I?m confident you?ll uncover the right approach to tell them.”
I smiled and pressed my lips against his for a brief kiss. “Thanks. Oh! Did you tell Alia? I forgot to call her!” I jumped up, reaching into my pocket for my telephone.
“No I didn?t.” He looked sheepish. “I was in an excessive amount of of a hurry to obtain here.”
I laughed. “Okay. I?ll go call her.” I smiled at him and left the room, anxious to talk to Alia.
She answered her telephone on the second ring, sounding sleepy. “Hello?”

“Alia guess what!”
“What? And who is this?” It sounded like she was yawning.
“I?ll provide you with 1 guess to figure out who I am.”
“Lexi?” She seemed to have woken up quickly. “Seriously? When are you currently coming house?”
“Oh I don?t know? subsequent week? perhaps tomorrow? possibly tonight. After I finish packing?” I teased with a smile.
“OH MY GOSH!” I could practically hear her jumping up and down. “I gotta go tell Aris! She?s gonna be so excited!” My telephone beeped. Someone was calling.

I hung up and looked at the telephone. It was Trae.

“So Melodie? or I guess it?s Lexi. My mom just told me that we?re moving to some small town in Pennsylvania. I was just questioning if it was close to the one you live in. It?s uh.. Morrisville?”
“No way! I live in Morrisville! That?s so cool!”
On the telephone call with Trae, he said that his mom wanted him to drive down and look around and make some friends, since they would be moving in to town in about a week. His household was rich, so he could be spending the week at a hotel since the papers for the home weren?t signed yet. So Trae was going to be riding down with us. Or when I say us, I guess I mean Sariah and Steve simply because I could be riding down with Seth. Yay!

Yo men and women. I’m Jess. 18, with light brown hair and dark brown eyes. I’m a tomboy, in case you haven’t already guessed it. I love pot stickers. (Obviously! Haha I’m Chinese!) I’ve never ever had a boyfriend. But the great factor is that I do not want to have 1. Boyfriends are more than rated, do not you think?

Well anyways, it’s Thursday now! I have a soccer game these days. I’m not accomplished with college yet. I have a year to go. I go to Santa Clara college in California. I used to live in China, but I came to America with my mother, my dad is nonetheless in China working to earn cash for me to go to school. I really like him for that. I was never really close to my mom, we by no means truly got along. She always utilized to pamper my younger sister, Lily, she’s 15. Now that we’re carried out with all the introductions, I have to get prepared for the game!

And she came out of her home (we lived proper next to every other) and gasped. “What are you currently performing? You realize you’re not supposed to play basketball!”

“I know, but no one’s here. So they will not see me. Do not worry, Nicole.”

“Okay, whatever you say…..” Yeah, she usually was the best friend a girl could have. Despite the fact that she worries, I still love her for it.

“I’m on my way down!” I finished tucking in my jersey and ran down the stairs three at a time. “I’m here! Let’s go to the game!” I grabbed my automobile keys from the kitchen table and then grabbed Nicole’s hand. She was on her phone, typical Nicole. She was constantly on her mobile phone. Occasionally I can’t believe we’re ideal pals. She’s a total girly girl, where as I hate something girly, considering that I’m a tomboy.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know…you keep telling me that but when are you going to prove it!” I suddenly knew who she was talking to, her existing boyfriend, Jared. He was ok, but she could do greater.

“Come on Nicole! You had been nagging me to hurry up and here you might be walking as slow as a snail!” I was fairly much dragging her to my great black punch buggy. I got it last year from my parents. I was so pleased, I slept in Yin last night. I know it’s weird, but yes, I named my auto Yin. I feel Yin means shaded. And black may be the color of shade?So Yeah.

“I?m sorry?Jared just stated that he won?t be able to go to the game nowadays?That?s the third time this season. I wonder what he?s performing.” She looked sad. I necessary to cheer her up. I needed to cheer her up.

“Hey! Prior to we go to the game you wanna get some doughnuts from Dunkin Doughnuts?” That was her favorite place within the entire wide world. I knew she could be pleased soon after we got triple chocolate doughnuts, her preferred.

“Ok! And, Jess?” She buckled her seatbelt and turned to take a look at me, “Thanks, for every thing. Specifically for being a terrific friend.”

“Awww, do not get all soppy with me now! But your welcome.” I hugged her, well at least I tried to, given that we were already in the automobile. I pulled out of my driveway and headed toward Dunkin Doughnuts. My preferred song was on! “Blind” by Jason Derulo!

Nicole and I started singing the chorus and we had been having a blast. We had been so busy singing to the music that we didn?t notice a automobile was honking at us to go. I started laughing and waved my hand as a “sorry” sign. We drove on and lastly got to the field. “Hey people.” 1 of our pals Kim walked more than and hugged us.

“Girls! On the field! NOW!” Coach Matt yelled at us. He looked genuinely mad, it would?ve been genuinely funny if there was steam blowing out of his ears. I shook the thought out of my head and ran out onto the field.

No surprise there, it was Ethan Wong. He has been stalking Nicole forever! He has brief blond hair and piercing red eyes. I turned about to begin warming up again when something hits me right within the face. Immediately I?m on the ground, my head is throbbing and I feel there?s blood trickling down my face. I try to bring my hand up to my face, but I can?t move it. A person rushes to my side and says, “I?m so sorry! I didn?t mean for the ball to hit you!” I can tell it?s a guy. He sorta sounds like a girl although. Looking up, I see his face. Dark blue eyes peek out by way of his bangs. He has light brown hair, too.

“It?s ok. I?m fine. I checked my hand again and found that I could move it. Guess I was just numb for a little while. I stood up and brushed some grass and dirt off my uniform. The guy stands up too and flicks a clump of grass off my shoulder.

“There you go. And I mean it, I?m actually sorry!” He looked sincere, but with guys, you never ever know.

“Oh, don?t worry about it,” I reply, nonetheless acquiring more than my dizziness. The “blood” that was trickling down my face wasn?t truly on my face. Just tingles that I got when I fell. I turned around, prepared to go play once more but I fell a hand grab mine.

“Hey, you didn?t even let me introduce myself.” He stares at me for a second and realizes I?m not going to say something. “I?m CJ, and you’re?”

“Late for the game. Sorry, I?ll see you later.” Sprinting to get away from him, I run to exactly where Coach is explaining the positions.
